Master of Science - Clinical Psychology

About Master of Science - Clinical Psychology
The clinical program is structured around the belief that the master’s degree primarily focuses on psychology, and students are expected to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the field. As a result, students will complete five foundational courses in psychology to prepare them for entry into the profession, as well as fulfill the general psychology requirements mandated by state licensing boards. Additionally, students will undergo rigorous training in psychodiagnostics, which emphasizes the administration, scoring, and interpretation of various intelligence and personality tests. The psychotherapy curriculum is predominantly cognitive-behavioral, with exposure to a range of techniques and orientations. Students will learn how to conduct effective psychotherapy sessions with adults, children, families, and couples. Furthermore, students will hone their research skills by completing a master’s thesis.
