Over the first two years of the program, guided by the expertise of Loughborough University's academic staff, students will gain broad coverage of the core aspects of mathematics, including analysis, linear algebra, geometry, probability and statistics, complex variables, mechanics and calculus of variations. In the final two years students will choose modules from a range of options in pure and applied mathematics and statistics, as well as developing their research skills by undertaking a year-long project in the final year.
