Loughborough University's Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Sport and Exercise Science course offers students the opportunity to study Sport and Exercise Science at one of the United Kingdom’s leading universities. Students will develop their knowledge and understanding of the Sport and Exercise Sciences that will be underpinned by a thorough scientific appreciation of the disciplines of physiology, biochemistry, biomechanics, motor control and psychology. Students will gain insights into the physiological, biomechanical and psychological influences on human performance during the preparation for, and participation in, sport and exercise.
On the course students will benefit from access to state-of-the-art laboratories which will allow them to develop their practical, scientific and laboratory skills which will enable them to apply their knowledge and understanding in the context of sports performance, physical activity, health and wellbeing.
