The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics and Management opens up a wide range of careers, in consultancy, management or as an economist, by equipping students with a robust understanding of both management and economics. The program contains all the essential modules of an economics degree jointly with the core business and management modules students will need to understand how organizations behave, compete and implement change both internally and externally.
In the first year of the Economics and Management program students will cover the core foundations of economics and business and management. Students will then get to specialize by selecting optional modules in areas of interest to them and their career aspirations in the second and final year. Unlike many other joint honors degrees of this type, the final year of the Economics and Management degree course allows students to choose from an even split of economics and management options.
Skills for employability is a key part of the Loughborough University's experience and can really boost students' job prospects and this program has a module specifically built in to help them develop their study and employability skills.
