In London Metropolitan University's bachelor’s psychology (Foundation Year) degree students will develop an in-depth understanding of core areas of psychology, while gaining a range of academic and transferable skills that are vital for postgraduate training, study or future career.
The foundation year will prepare students for more rigorous study at Level 4 by equipping them with fundamental knowledge of scientific methods relevant to the study of psychology. Students will also gain skills to research, critically analyse and present their findings.
Further to the lecturers and seminars, students will be able to access further support to improve their academic ability through various workshops that will help students practice their study skills. Their academic tutor will also lead one-to-one sessions, where they’ll discuss their progress and talk about their work.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
