London Metropolitan University's Documentary Film Production MA is an innovative course led by industry experts. It is designed to embrace traditional, new and emerging forms of storytelling. Students will witness how the way society makes and watches non-fiction film, television and online content is changing, and will continue to do so.
Documentary filmmaking is currently a very fluid medium. In light of this, the specially tailored modules will cover a host of areas, allowing students to learn how to develop crowd-based productions, interactive and virtual reality content, as well as how to shoot cinematic content using the latest cinema cameras. With access to excellent equipment and resources, there is a strong practical focus to the course with a large number of hands-on workshops. These will ensure that students gain confidence in all technical aspects of the production process.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
