Through this program, students will become part of a worldwide organization of professionals who are at the forefront of addressing the needs of society and the world's economy, and ensuring it is accomplished in a sustainable manner.
Students will learn about chemical processes, bioprocesses, and process designs - and how they can be harnessed to drive our economy and benefit society. Students can also choose to focus their degree with specialized options in sustainability and the environment, or extractive metallurgy and mineral processing.
Students will combine what they learn and their creativity to solve issues and innovate sustainable products and processes. Through group design projects, tackle issues like renewable energy, environmental protection, mineral extraction and processing, green production, and many more regionally and globally important topics.
Students also have the option to get hands-on training through working in the industry during the 16-month co-op program, which they can start in their second year.
