The course is highly practical. Students will continually apply their studies to real-life situations through fieldwork and paid work placement opportunities. This course is accredited by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). Teaching includes lectures, seminars and tutorials, practical classes and integrated fieldwork study. The University place emphasis on learning through experiences and there is field work and practical classes at all stages of students' learning, including UK, European and non-European field work.
