International Year One - Undergraduate Pathway - General (1-Semester Pathway) Transfer to Bachelor of Science - Elementary Education

International Year One is a supportive program that allows students to earn credits towards their degree while receiving additional academic, cultural and language support customized for international students.

Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next semester of study at Illinois State University.

Bachelor of Science - Elementary Education

The Elementary Teacher Education program at Illinois State prepares students for a professional educator's license to teach grades 1-6. Throughout the coursework, teacher candidates gain the professional knowledge and skills needed to become highly effective educators, as well as approximately 300 hours of hands-on classroom experience prior to student teaching.
