International Year One - Undergraduate Pathway - Fine Arts (2-Semester Pathway) Transfer to Bachelor of Music - Voice Performance

International Year One is a supportive program that allows students to earn credits towards their degree while receiving additional academic, cultural and language support customized for international students.

Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next semester of study at Illinois State University.

Bachelor of Music - Voice Performance

Students who choose Music Performance can anticipate becoming professional musicians. Music Performance graduates should be willing to work flexible hours, with an income comparable to that of an entrepreneur.

Music Performance students can expect to spend the majority of their academic careers rehearsing and practicing for the numerous performance opportunities available at Illinois State and at local performance venues. Among many other requirements, ensemble participation and solo recitals are essential components of the plan of study.

Students will enter one of many School of Music studios, choosing from four performance sequences in the Music major:

• Voice Performance
• Band and Orchestra Instruments Performance
• Classical Guitar Performance
