Master of Science - Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology

Over the course of four semesters, students will gain in-depth knowledge and valuable skills for the biopharmaceutical industry. This pharmaceutical study program covers the entire value chain: from molecular structures and properties to fundamental principles of good manufacturing practice (GMP) and regulatory affairs in the tightly controlled environment of the pharmaceutical industry.

Biopharmaceuticals play an important and increasing role in combating diseases such as diabetes, cancer, or multiple sclerosis. The development of mRNA vaccines against the COVID-19 pandemic by biotechnology companies further illustrated the important work of experts in pharmaceutical biotechnology.
