• Build a strong foundation with core courses in policing in a democratic society, quantitative analysis, and juvenile delinquency.  
• Define a specific focus through elective classes, including white-collar crime, deviance and social control, and race and ethnicity.  
• Gain hands-on experience alongside Oneonta police and firefighters, intern as advocates for victims of domestic violence or child abuse, or acquire real-world work experience in the court system.  
• Collaborate with faculty on research projects and present findings at Student Showcase.
