What students will learn:

• Pursue specialized tracks in poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and media and marketing writing.  
• Spend J Term studying magical realism in Iceland, literature and culture in Ireland, or theater in England.  
• Hone talents by joining Hartwick’s Writing Underground club, participating in a poetry slam, or submitting work to the College’s Word of Mouth literary magazine.  
• Compile poems, essays, or short stories into a thesis and present the work at Student Showcase.
