Program Description

The University's Masters in Advanced Practice has been designed in consultation with policy advisors, clinicians, students and patient representatives. The department recognises the importance of service user and carer perspectives when it comes to defining a flexible approach to practice experience and in advancing core and area specific levels of clinical competence.
MSc Advanced Practice at Glasgow Caledonian University gives students exposure to worldwide health and social care perspectives. Students will explore further the need to integrate service users and carers views into policy and practice development. And students will develop the confidence to embrace and promote professional leadership - so that they can contribute meaningfully to the modernisation and integration of health and social care delivery.
