About College Certificate - Environmental Studies
Program Description
The Environmental Studies certificate provides an interdisciplinary approach to the full breadth of today’s global environment. Students select at least three courses that deal with environmental issues in a scientific way. Students can also explore their interests by taking more science or studying courses from a social, cultural,
philosophical, political or economic perspective. This certificate is a stepping stone to a number of diplomas, associate degrees or bachelor degrees. Students must complete an environmental project to receive the certificate.
After completion of the certificate, students find employment in entry-level jobs or move into other programs to become more specialized.
