Program Description
No matter what, you’re always communicating. In the communication program at CMU, you’ll develop a background in communication skills, problem-solving and resourcefulness. Our nationally recognized faculty members help you explore various aspects of communication and guide you toward a career or graduate education. Like to argue? You can travel and compete on the forensics team at intercollegiate speech and debate tournaments. You’ll also be able to gain professional development experiences through internships with organizations such as Walt Disney World, the Palace of Auburn Hills, General Motors, Dow Chemical, the Michigan House of Representatives and Michigan Governor’s Office.
