About Winter Program (9 week)
The Winter program is designed for international students, generally ages 13 to 19, interested in a short-term Canadian high school experience from the latter part of November to the end of January. This is a non credit program in which students take two high school courses, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
While it has an academic focus and, it includes a range of fun activities and optional trips. During the two week winter holiday, school also arrange some other winter activities. Each school day consists of approximately six hours of classes. All of the courses are based on the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum. Students typically take one English course plus a choice of math, social science, drama, business or art.
The nine-week winter program experience is a great option for students interested in testing out the idea of studying abroad.
