About Summer Program
The summer program is designed for international students, generally ages 13 to 19, interested in a short-term Canadian high school experience. While it has an academic focus, it includes a range of fun activities and optional trips. Each school day consists of six hours of classes. Students choose a morning class and an afternoon class. All of the courses are based on the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum. Students typically take one English course plus a choice of math, social science or art. The schedule is customized with the school's guidance team.
The seven-week Summer Program experience includes two credits from the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum, as well as fun activities and trips in and around the city. This is also a good option for students interested in testing out the idea of studying abroad. In many cases students can extend their high school studies into the September intake, having already earn two credits in the summer.
