About Extended Accelerator - Bachelor of Science - Business & Marketing Education
The Extended Accelerator Program is a three-semester program for students seeking an immersive English-learning experience. The program gives students a firsthand practical and cultural understanding of the Auburn University campus and the Auburn, Alabama, area through its contextual curriculum. Upon completion of the program, students progress into year two of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.
For those who have a passion for business and the desire to educate others, this program will prepare them to start or advance their career in Business/Marketing Education. While learning in a hands-on, project-based setting, students will experience authentic learning environments and achieve industry credentialing, including Microsoft Office Specialist Certification.
The bachelor’s degree will prepare students to teach a broad range of business/marketing courses in grades 6-12. Graduates are ready to provide students with the vital knowledge and skills required for entry level employment in business, postsecondary education, and personal business transactions.
