Legal practice increasingly takes place on a global stage and multi-lingual legal experts are in high demand. By choosing to study LLB Law and Spanish at Aberystwyth University students will not only gain competency in law but also a high level of fluency in Spanish.
This degree is the perfect combination of formality and creativity. They will study the core elements of legal practice together with law in a broader context, including its relationship with society. At the same time, students will study the rules that govern the Spanish language but also gain a good understanding of the cultural and political aspects of Spanish life and society, learning how to use Spanish in a formal, legal setting as well as in a more informal setting during the year abroad in the third year - an experience that is sure to be the biggest adventure of their lives so far.
