Bachelor of Arts - Biology

Jewell biology students are well-rounded in their knowledge about biology and as practicing scientists, creative thinkers, problem solvers and good communicators.

During their first year, students will be introduced to investigative laboratories that stress that science is curiosity-driven, rather than goal-driven. Students will also begin to learn the skills and tools utilized in lab and field experiments, with more sophisticated techniques and instruments added as they progress through the curriculum.
