A Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in applied linguistics from Wichita State provides students with the critical thinking and quantitative skills for success in the classroom and beyond. Graduates work in fields as diverse as translation, interpreting, teaching, publishing, national security, international affairs, forensics, medicine, finance and market research
The major in applied linguistics offers students three concentrations: general linguistics, speech pathology and communication sciences, and computer science and data science.
