About Undergraduate Foundation Program + Bachelor of Arts - Anthropology
Undergraduate Foundation Program
WSU’s Undergraduate Foundation program provides additional academic and/or English language support and personalized advising to help students smoothly transition to full university study. Students are unconditionally admitted to the university and graduate in the same amount of time as direct-entry students – they are just provided with additional support courses.
Bachelor of Arts - Anthropology
Anthropology is the study of the human condition from a biological, cultural, social and political perspective from the earliest times to the present day with a focus on four main sub-fields: Archaeology, Cultural Anthropology, Linguistic Anthropology and Physical Anthropology.
Courses will familiarize students with current issues in human evolution, linguistics, the prehistoric development of culture, and culture theory. Undergraduate majors are required to gain a background in all four of these major subfields.
