About Bachelor of Music - Music Teaching
Program Description
To teach music in junior high or high school, students will need a bachelor's degree in music with teacher certification in the subject. The music education major at WSU integrates teacher certification requirements with the music major so that students can work toward a music degree and teacher certification simultaneously.
Supplemental Pre-Professional tracks are available for students interested in pursuing further professional education. If there is interest in one of these tracks in addition to the degree, please let the recruiter know. The options are:
