About Bachelor of Arts - Social Studies
Program Description
To teach social studies in middle school or high school, students will need a bachelor’s degree in the subject with teacher certification. The social studies teaching program at WSU integrates professional education coursework with the major and leads to Washington state teacher certification.
Supplemental Pre-Professional tracks are available for students interested in pursuing further professional education. If there is interest in one of these tracks in addition to the degree, please let the recruiter know. The options are:
