Associate of Arts - Music Performance

Program Description

This pre-major is designed for the student who plans to transfer to the University of Central Florida or the University of Florida as a junior to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance.

Program Outcomes:

• Demonstrate technical instrumental and/or vocal proficiency.
• Appraise different musical performance practices based on musical style and history.
• Perform in a recital or concert setting as both soloist and member of an ensemble.
• Develop a working vocabulary of musical terminology.
• Demonstrate an understanding of music theory.
• Practice competencies of sight singing and ear training.
• Demonstrate readiness to transfer.
