Program Description
The University of York International Pathway College is part of the University of York, and offers pathway courses to prepare students for a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
The programme covers the whole of the human past, from human origins to contemporary archaeology. The courses will develop skills in a broad range of archaeological methods across the arts and sciences, through a combination of hands-on learning and small group teaching.
The department is renowned for being friendly and welcoming, meaning students will get to know their lecturers and they'll get to know students. They will have endless opportunities to get involved, from joining the Archaeology Society to working abroad on a research project. York is based in the King's Manor in the city centre - a beautiful and truly unique Medieval building, with additional state-of-the-art facilities on the main campus.
