Program Description
Students can go from the classroom to the boardroom. This program offers lots of hands-on learning through case studies, group projects, community engagement and co-op opportunities. Students will get a broad introduction to business in their first and second year, then in third year, they can choose a specialization, putting them on the path to a career in that area. Students will build valuable connections with industry experts to help them on their way.
Students will learn from world-renowned leaders in women’s and gender studies along with leading business experts to find solutions.
Students will learn:
- How to work independently, lead and effectively work in teams, as appropriate to business situation
- Apply technical knowledge to identify and analyze issues and solve problems
- Initiate and undertake research that relates to the field of business
- Make and communicate ethical business decisions
- Implement initiatives while considering economic and social events through various leadership roles
- Effectively communicate ideas, arguments and evidence
