About Bachelor of Sustainability and Financial Management (Co-op)
Students enrolled in the Sustainability and Financial Management program can become experts with purpose by learning to integrate people, profits, and the planet into the bottom line. Through this one-of-a-kind program, students will fuse knowledge of accounting and financial management from Waterloo's School of Accounting and Finance with the Faculty of Environment's expertise in sustainability. Plus, students will be able to explore careers and gain valuable skills for their career by graduating with 16 months of paid co-op work experience.
Program highlights
- Students can kickstart their credentials. The Sustainability and Financial Management (SFM) program is a direct route to a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
- Students can grow their own green business. Students can take a course in green entrepreneurship where they can develop their ideas for an environmental business or social enterprise. They can also drop by Velocity Start @ Environment to work on your business plan with one-on-one coaching from experienced advisors.
