Extended Accelerator - Bachelor of Arts - Philosophy of Science

The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) combines language, culture and academics to give students a deep understanding of life in and out of the American classroom and includes personalized English-language instruction and tutoring.

Students in the Extended Accelerator receive:

Philosophy of Science is concerned with the foundations, methods, and implications of science. This includes identifying what distinguishes good science from bad, the effectiveness and reliability of scientific theories, and the ultimate purpose of science. This major is designed to provide students with a technical grounding in a scientific or social science discipline of their choosing, and also core knowledge in ethical, analytical, and logical reasoning.
