Program Description
The Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a balanced first-year program for international students with good English-language skills. It supplements immersive classes taught in English with just the right amount of support.
Students in the Academic Accelerator receive:
- The right amount of support for their academic and English-speaking needs
- A full year’s worth of college credits
- Access to courses exclusively for international students
- English-language help with words they need to know for their classes
- A mix of classes with international and U.S. students
Study product design through the Multi-Disciplinary Design program at the University of Utah. This exciting curriculum uses product design as a vehicle to investigate a number of broader concepts in design and creativity, such as design research, human-centered design principles, interface development, articulation of product forms, materials, and digital manufacturing principles. Students complete courses from four areas of design: Studio, Technical, History/Theory, and Practice. Through classes on design, graphics, visual communication, and other topics, students will understand the connections among cross-disciplinary design specialties. Multi-disciplinary design students will help map the future of design through production, research, strategy, entrepreneurship, and applied futurism, preparing graduates for an exciting career in the industry.
