2.5-Term Pathway - Foundation Certificate for Science and Engineering - Continue to Master of Science (Honours) - Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science

If students have finished high school but don’t meet the entry requirements for university, a Foundation Certificate can help them gain entry to an undergraduate degree.

MSci Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science is a course that explores wildlife conservation issues at local, national and global levels. Created in partnership with Bristol Zoo Gardens, it gives students unique access to the zoo's facilities and expertise. Mixing theory with practice, along with opportunities to conduct their own original research, they'll delve into the relationship between wildlife and society, and the impact of human activities on the living world.

Hone in professional skills in natural habitats close to Bristol, including the Severn Estuary, the Cotswolds woodlands and grasslands, the Somerset Levels and Avon Gorge. Tap into UWE Bristol's many links with local conservation organizations, and go on placements, volunteering, field-based work and residential trips in the UK and overseas.
