Program Description
This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In your International Foundation Year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.
In the International Foundation Year in Sciences & Engineering, you will explore and begin to understand the power of engineering and science in the real world. While you begin to learn the technical aspects of your desired degree program you will also be provided with a critical outlook and approach employers want in your chosen field.
Our faculty are experts in the behaviour, conservation and evolution of animals – from white sharks and spider monkeys to ants and cuttlefish – and will inspire your passion for the subject in this Master of Science in Zoology.
You’ll experience zoology first hand and gain practical zoology skills by going on an exciting range of UK and international field trips. You’ll benefit from our links with a range of organisations involved in conservation and environmental management to help you prepare for careers in these sectors.
In your integrated Masters year you'll develop advanced research skills and work with one of our research groups.
