2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Business, Media and Social Sciences - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Politics and Sociology

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In your International Foundation Year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Media and Social Sciences will familiarize you with a wide area of study for your intended degree. You will develop your critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing you with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

Study in Brighton – one of the UK’s most politically diverse cities – and explore power, inequality, globalisation and the role of politics in society.

You’ll learn from experts influencing global debates from political corruption to gender inequality and enjoy regular political debates featuring guest speakers. Through sociology projects you will also develop practical research skills.

We also organise trips to Germany and France, where you can learn more about the current political scene and meet with politicians and academics.
