The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
The Bachelor of Science in Politics and International Relations degree includes the study of traditional disciplines of political theory and comparative politics. Graduates will develop a grounding in the theory and practice of global politics. This will give them an in-depth understanding of the contemporary political world.
Students will learn the theory of politics and then specialize in areas of current political importance. These include globalization, public policy, constitutional politics, security studies and migration.
