The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
The Bachelor of Arts in Education graduates will learn theory and research informs practice and policy in education. They will discover to unlock the potential in themselves and others. This courses focus on the rigorous, scientific study of the subject. Students will learn both United Kingdom and international systems, from primary to post-compulsory education. Topics include:
- Information Technology (IT) in the classroom
- curriculum design
- lifelong and workplace learning
- international education systems
- special educational needs
