The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Today’s media are rapidly changing the ways people live, work, and socialize. The Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television and Digital Media will help graduates understand the impact of these changes locally and globally. They learn about:
- film, TV, and Digital Media across different social, historical, and cultural contexts, and from significant theoretical perspectives
- how the media works, its impacts on society, and the issues that shape public debates and concerns about the media
- how digital platforms have transformed the way we produce and consume film, TV, and other media; and
- the changing nature of professional practice in the screen industries and the impact of digital media on the broader world of work.
