The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies Study film from a variety of perspectives: as popular art, big business and as a cultural record. They will immerse themselves in the subject, from the earliest projected images to the present day. Students will learn to view Hollywood blockbusters, European and world cinema with a critical eye. They will study familiar classics alongside contemporary cinema, and genres including:
- film noir
- horror
- science fiction
- documentary
- animation
