The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts in Film and English Study will discover the way people tell stories across both art forms. They will analyze writing from early poetry to the present day novel. Students will learn to view Hollywood blockbusters, European and world cinema with a critical eye. They can look at literature and films in new contexts, including performance, music, science, philosophy and more.
