The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Modern biochemists study the molecular processes of life. The Integrated Master's in Biochemistry covers topics from Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) to proteins, single molecules to cells, all the way up to complex lifeforms. This course will prepare graduates for a career in clinical biochemistry, biotechnology or pharmacology. This course will give them a deep understanding of biochemistry, and develop their practical skills in a laboratory.
