The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Graduates will fuel their fascination for space and the technologies used to investigate it. On the Integrated Master of Physics in Physics with Space Science degree they will explore a wide range of subjects, from the essentials of astronomy through to satellite design and space weather.
Students will examine phenomena that can only be monitored from space, such as geomagnetic storms and solar wind, and combine their physics knowledge with space engineering principles to learn about spacecraft design.
