The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Mathematics is the fundamental language of physics. Physics uses mathematics to make predictions, and many mathematical areas have been developed to solve physical problems. The Integrated Master's in Mathematical Physics explores mathematical topics and how they appear throughout theoretical physics. Learners will study particle physics, astrophysics and quantum field theory. They will graduate with technical skills sought by employers across science, industry and research.
