The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Graduates will learn to apply their mechanical engineering skill in a range of fields, from orthopedics to automobile systems. The Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering explores real-world problems with practical project work. Students will learn about mechanics, structures and materials, and study design and computing - all vital for a career in this industry.
The study of Mechanical Engineering involves learning to take a product from initial concept, to design and manufacture.
