The Level 6 Pre-Master’s Program is designed to prepare international students for postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. The program will allow students to improve their English while learning the study skills and research methods that they will need during their Master’s degree studies.
The duration of the Level 6 program is two semesters. Each semester consists of a minimum of 13 teaching weeks. Students will be expected to timetable self-study hours in addition to the classroom-based hours. Each module will have an assessment schedule, which will be completed by the end of the appropriate semester. Assessments will be designed to demonstrate learning across the individual modules of the program and to allow candidates to experience a wide range of the assessment methods used in United Kingdom postgraduate program.
Graduates will learn about some of the world’s biggest challenges, from renewable energy to improving the study of disease, with the Master of Science in Chemistry degree. They will study in depth traditional areas including analytical, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry. Students in this course will combine theory, practical and research work to develop skills in demand by industry, or prepare for further research study.
