Bachelor of Fine Arts - Art

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art majors at University of South Dakota, students will join a creative community of artists that will come alongside them as they expand their skills. Here, students will learn from outstanding faculty, participate in workshops with internationally renowned artists and designers, get hands-on experience through internships and community projects, contribute to galleries and create their own art in the school's exceptional studio spaces. These are just a few of the experiences that will position graduates for success in the art world.

For those students who are passionate about ceramics, painting, printmaking, graphic design/multimedia, photography or sculpture, a degree from University of South Dakota will provide them with the training, facilities and opportunities they need to launch their career. It is a four-year program focusing on art or design, balanced with general studies and art history.
