Extended Accelerator - Bachelor of Arts - Languages, Literatures and Cultures - Spanish

The Spanish Program at the University of South Carolina is the largest in South Carolina. It offers a wide variety of courses for undergraduate and graduate students. The Spanish program is led by a diverse group of faculty dedicated to the teaching and research of the Spanish language and the varied cultures of Latin America and Spain.

The undergraduate students can enroll in a variety of Spanish courses to pursue the Bachelor of Arts Concentration in Spanish, or earn a Spanish Minor to complement work in their chosen field. They will learn Spanish and develop intercultural communication skills to engage with Spanish-speaking populations that opens doors to a variety of careers and professions. The cultural knowledge of the diverse communities of the Spanish-speaking world taught in the Spanish Program prepares students to be active participants in today’s global society.
