3-Term Pathway - Undergraduate Foundation Program - Business - Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Economics (with Placement Year)

At ONCAMPUS Reading, students are provided with the opportunity to prepare for degree study and are guaranteed progression to a variety of undergraduate degrees at the University of Reading. The program is specifically designed for international students who have completed senior secondary education and aims to prepare them for entry into undergraduate studies at the University of Reading. Successful completion of the University Foundation Program at the required level in all academic areas and meeting the necessary English language score will allow students to automatically progress to a suitable undergraduate program at the University of Reading. The This four-year course focuses on how economic tools can be applied to different markets and situations. You will acquire the skills, knowledge and understanding that will enable you to solve the problems that are challenging policy makers and businesses all over the world is set at NQF level 3, which is equivalent to A level standard in the United Kingdom.

The majority of programs last for one academic year, divided into three terms of seven to eight teaching weeks and one examination week. Students can expect to engage in approximately 21 (and up to 25) hours of classroom-based study per week.

One example of an undergraduate degree offered is the BA Economics with Placement Year program. This four-year course focuses on the application of economic tools to various markets and situations, equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and understanding needed to address global challenges faced by policy makers and businesses.
