2-Semester Pathway - Foundation Pathway in Engineering & Robotics - Continue to Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Civil Engineering

Students will prepare for a high-flying career in engineering or robotics with a foundation program that will help them reach their potential. They will have access to the largest number of humanoid robots available to undergraduate students at the University of Plymouth. 

Once candidates have successfully complete the Foundation program in Engineering and Robotics, they will work in a world-class research environment with staff internationally renowned for cutting-edge research. An option to take a placement year is also available to help them further develop their skills.

Civil engineers imagine, design and create structures and the technical approaches necessary for realizing large-scale projects that provide shelter, clean water, sanitation, transportation, energy security and safety from natural hazards. The Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering graduates are taught by enthusiastic academic staff who use live site visits and laboratory work to reinforce their academic learning.
