About Integrated Master of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering (H300)

The Mechanical Engineering course offers students the opportunity to combine their initiative, numeracy skills, and detailed subject knowledge to improve the functioning of modern industry for the benefit of all.

Mechanical engineering plays a crucial role in various industries such as aerospace, manufacturing, medicine, renewable energy, and Formula 1. In fact, almost every aspect of our daily lives is influenced by mechanical engineering innovations, ranging from the vehicles we drive to the processing of our food.

In addition to attending instructional sessions, students will have access to exceptional manufacturing research facilities, which include robotics and 3D printing techniques. They will also have the chance to apply their knowledge in both individual and group project settings.

During the initial two years, the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering programs follow a shared curriculum that focuses on developing a strong foundation in engineering science and design. In the third year, students will have the opportunity to specialize in various mechanical engineering options.
