Program Description
Develop the leadership and decision-making skills needed for a successful accounting career in this Master of Accountancy program. This high-quality program at North Alabama will also prepare students for professional certification—graduates have some of the highest pass rates in the state of Alabama on the CPA and CFE exams.
The MAcc is a 30-semester-hour graduate program—with a master’s in accounting online option—designed to provide students with the professional skills and business knowledge essential for success in contemporary professional accounting and business careers. Most states, including Alabama, require 150 semester hours of education before you can be licensed as a CPA. This MAcc program provides the remaining courses required for the CPA exam for students who have the equivalent of a bachelor's degree in accounting.
